What I Forgot This Trip (So Far...)

I've mentioned before my rule of thumb that every trip I forget one thing. Really that's an average. Some trips I don't forget anything. This trip I've forgotten two... so far! Both were items I took with me but forgot- i.e., left behind- somewhere along the way.
The first loss was my scarf. I dropped it somewhere between leaving the airplane and walking to the airport tram at IAD yesterday. Though the weather's chilly and I would appreciate having that scarf I decided it wasn't worth the fuss to go looking for it.
The second loss is a small container of face cleanser. It's not the cost of the items that's so frustrating. While the scarf was $15 when I purchased it, the container and cleanser were worth about $0.50 together.... But replacing the container will be difficult! Small, reusable containers with good seals that aren't hard to use are rare finds.
