Ashland, OR. Saturday, 1 July 2017. 1:30pm.

We rolled out of the parking lot of our hotel in Corning, CA this morning shortly after 9am. We only stayed for " 8 hours and a shower" as I noted in my previous journal. Take a look at this view from our hotel room window....

Dunsmuir Ave! Da Boss and I always stop in Dunsmuir whenever we go through that area. (Which hasn't been often in the past decade or so.) It's a charming little place. It has always been a nice break in the trip for us; we like to get out and stretch our legs there.

We stopped at a Thai restaurant there, figuring it would be thoroughly white-breaded down. We were wrong. Very good, but very very hot!!
