And the gamers are back from GenCon, and the brother-in-law has gone home! To celebrate both of us being at home, with no imminent arrivals or departures, we had a lazy evening in with the cats tonight. So we put together a good greek-style dinner (roasted lamb and a gussied up couscous salad) and watched a movie--Dead Poets Society, to be exact

Side note: I skipped out on my cousin's wedding to go to yours. At the time I felt a bit guilty about it as it was family, but since 1) I never received an invitation 2) I was told about it 2 weeks before and had already bought the tickets to Seattle, I didn't stress to much about it. Looking back, I'm glad I picked that battle against mom and her guilt trip since my cousin has been divorced (he turned out to be a dud) for a few years now and I never met the guy.
