Well, in the comparison, you're probably right. But I think iPods are completely over-commercialized. Everyone's got one. So, I don't want one. But I still wanted a good mp3 player. So the Nomad worked.
Damn... 250GB HD?! That's alot of CDs!!! I'd love to develop a collection like that, but I don't have money to burn on that yet. I'm sure you'll be able to upgrade to a 100GB HD for the iPod in a few months.
Ok... so size matters for you.... and the smaller the better, eh? For me, it's not about size... it's about feel. It's gotta feel strong and sturdy.
I envy your forthright-ness. I haven't built myself to showing toys yet. One day..... perhaps.
Ok, do you prefer Microsoft or Apple? Do you like PC's or do you prefer Mac’s? I keep hearing that Mac’s are better computers, because their os is more reliable.
Is this true?
As for gb...my computer is so old I only have about 5 gb, but Josh has two hard drives, and between both I think he has 160 gbs. I'm betting 25 gbs (give or take 5) is used for music. He literally has thousands and thousands of songs. It boggles my mind cause he doesn't even listen to half of them! lol
Oh, and I REALLY like your new toy...am drooling with envy over here.
Personally, I've always been a PC-gal. I've had a computer since 1983 with 128 KB Memory and some a huge HD of 8MB. Back then, if you want to move a computer, you had to literally 'park & lock' the HD, otherwise, you it demagnetizes.
Anywho... MacOS IS more reliable than Microsoft. (Heck, practically any platform is more reliable than Microsoft.) But Microsoft was smart with their business strategy, so they won the popularity contest w/ AppleComputers.
Since we're comparing HDs size... We have a 4 computer network at my house. Between the 4 of them, I think we have at least 400GB of space (not quite sure how large the server HDs are). My Dad has a massive music collection stored on there. And alot of other stuff. He doesn't listen to most of them, either.
I LOVE my new toy... got it on Monday. Gotta recharge it... but can't. *sigh* So, it's useless.
