Xander's phone might have video capabilities, but if he were at this point doing the Snoopy Dance he would not send her evidence of this fact.

"Still ain't dead!" Mel said gleefully. "How's my favorite pirate imitator?"

"ARRRRRR!"

Mel laughed. "Is that a good 'Ar' or a bad 'Ar'?" Mel asked. "I left my pirate to English dictionary back in Fandom."

"That's a good Arrrrr. You have to count the rrrr's."

[cantjossme]

Mel laughed. "Damn. It's only been a week and I'm missing you guys like crazy. Nothing blew up there since I left has it?"

[needsaparrot]

Xander had to think about that one for a second. "I don't think so. Unless it was behind the scenes at Rory and Anakin's wedding."

"The professor guy-with-issues got married?" Mel asked. "Man I hope this means his final exam will change as a result. It was like someone took all their personal issues and made them multiple choice."

Despite the fact that Xander had no room to talk, he couldn't help snorting. "I think his issues may be a lifetime subscription."

"I think I have that magazine," Mel said pausing for a moment. "I miss having you around to talk with. Directly."

[needsaparrot]

"Same here." And how. "We could fake it though - say 'Gimme a twinkie.' "

"TWINKIE! GIMME!"

"Press the button!"

[cantjossme]

"See? Not the same."

[needsaparrot]

"True, dat," Xander replied with a sigh. Which didn't stop him from pressing his own Twinkie Button.

"You realize that thanks to you? I know have the only Twinkie making device in my time period?" Mel said having already pressed her own twinkie button. "Maybe I can make some cash off this."
