More Job search ranting from yours truly.  There's a touch of anger in this one.  See if you can spot it.

I didn't actually do any serious job hunting today.  I needed the break.  I'll post more later, for those who are interested.

hmm..some wierd stuff going on in the tags. I've got more to learn about this lj client. Oh well. It's mostly readable.

Completely readable. For a while I used a client...then I switched back to the web form.

Most clients allow you to minimize them and auto-restart on boot. That was fine. What wasn't fine was that they give you a false sense of security that your partial livejournal entry will be preserved between reboots. Having lost a half-dozen entries because a livejournal client doesn't save its state between its closing and starting up clinched it. If it couldn't do that basic thing, it wasn't worth using.

Further, I usually have a few things on my mind at the same time, and occasionally this results in me writing multiple entries simultaneously. No client allowed for multiple in-progress entries.

No multiple entries: worse than a web browser.
No state saving: equal to a web browser.
Post failure: I can hit back in the browser, the client I was using trashed your entry regardless of post result.
