Jack followed along, trying not to look too eager or anything. When they approached the motel, it was like torture waiting for Ennis to get that damn room key outta his pocket.
The second the door opened, Jack pushed Ennis inside, kicking the door closed behind them, his hands moving to grip the other man's jacket, fingers unwilling to let go even with the jaws of life. His lips crashed into Ennis' unrelenting in their force all the while trying to remember to breath between kisses.
Slowly, Ennis' hands came up to return the embrace, winding in Jack's short hair.
"Where's the fire, friend?" he muttered, contradicting his own words as he struggled to pull Jack's jacket free, managing to knock the other man's hat to the floor in the process.
"No fire.." He breathed out connecting his lips with Ennis' again. "Jus' glad t'see you thats all..." He managed to push the words out as he pushed off the other's jacket letting it fall to the floor and began working on his shirt.
"Hopin' yer glad t'see me." He said with a playful grin as his hands moved to Ennis' belt now.
Ennis curled into Jack's side, immediately feeling the loss of the other man's warmth, even if it was summer.
"So, Lureen don't think.. I mean, she don't know?" It was something they'd been over again and again, but Ennis was endlessly paranoid. Lureen's daddy didn't like Jack none and if he found out...
