That was a close one. The giant cannon was almost going to fire a full power blast at the GDF Tower. But, we managed to stop it just in time. And it was... Actually we lost to someone who was piloting a Gespenst. A unit is one thing, but it's nothing compared to a pilot's skills.

And I am no expert in mecha warfare, but I think that guy was good. Really good.

I'm afraid so. That other pilot... he must've been there only so that he could abduct him.

That's not all. Shiro said something about his opponent being him, or not being him... what could it be? A clone, a future self maybe? Sounds incredible, but after a while with GDF, everything sounds possible.

With the kind of enemy he's dealing with, it could be more of a... copy than a clone, if that makes sense.

You should learn to keep more current backups. Speaking from personal experience, such a thing is extremely important.

I'd also say Nakajima should learn to write her own reports, but yours are frankly easier to read. Although I'm glad to see your training's been paying off, especially with regards to circumventing barriers.

Yes, ma'am. I'd rather not have to rewrite so many reports from scratch ever again.

I'm happy for my progress too. Once I actually started to look at it all objectively, I can see how I get better and better in time.
