Stuff! Some of it comes from some of you, but I've had so many tabs open for so many days that I'm hopelessly confused. Hope you've all been enjoying the month, however you have or haven't celebrated. I spent December 25th digging in the garden for fresh carrots and kohlrabi :D

I wasn't impressed with the new BBC Sherlock, but I have to admit, I would watch the shit out of one where Sherlock and Watson were girls.

Watching the second episode, I was lamenting that we're not distanced enough yet from the source material or the way we understand gender and sex to make that kind of (mainstream) remake. It's one thing to make Starbuck or one other secondary character a woman, but Sherlock Holmes? It's going to have to be his great-grand niece instead. (This was an actual show. The Adventures of Shirley Holmes!)
