i liked this episode a lot. i think the writers are paying attention to the criticisms and doing something to change it. there's still a ways to go but i can't point out any moments that made me want to bash my head into a brick wall, so i'm counting it as a win ;)
Depending on how things go, I think I might be able to start getting properly enthusiastic about Glee again. It's early yet and I'm still as mixed feelings about next week as ever, but I feel like maybe now they're really showing signs of actually putting in the effort they're winning awards for, you know?
Sometimes, I do feel a little bit badly for holding this show to such a higher standard than everything else. It's hard not to, though!
Could I possibly snag Glee from you (I'll bring up a USB key) tomorrow afternoon? :3 My new Mac got delivered today, but I still need to contact the network people to get internet access. *has been stealing wi-fi signal all week*
Call first - I'll be out for around an hour at some point - but for sure! The plot was maybe a little underwhelming (set-up kind of week), but as my post says, less issues with it's... issues.
