Yay, less than a month now until the release of the new Asterix comic book! It will be released simultaneously in 27 countries. :-) I guess the booksellers will be in for a hard days work on October 14, the release date

i love asterix!!! i've only read him in french though, i had no idea they had him in english.

He exists in over 100 languages. Quite an achievement for a comic.
Of course the jokes are best in French, seeing as it's a Frenchman (or two, before) writing it.

Ha, beim Teutates! *g* Ich mag besonders den mit dem Avernerschild, wo Majestix ne empfindliche Leber hat und alle drauf rumdrücken und die nuschelnden Averner.... Werd ihn mir auf jeden FAll auch mal angucken, vielleicht wärs ein Geschenk für meinen Pa, zuhause haben wir beinahe alle Ausgaben.

Eins meiner Lieblings-Asterix-Bücher ist das mit dem Kampf der Häuptlinge, wo der Druide nen Hinkelstein an die Birne kriegt und dann spinnt (kommt auch in einem der Filme vor). *hihihi*
