Wonderful reading :D The story itself was great, and I like the smoothness with which you read the transitions. I'm really picky with podfic in that I find it hard to listen to if I don't like the reader's voice, or pacing, or intonation, but you've gotten all three down perfectly.

I'm so glad my reading style works for you :D Unrequited fangirling is a blast, but it can be even better when it goes both ways.

I actually did some slight modifications to the story structure, as periodic use of the bullet-point list format did not at all translate to audio. (Well, there could have been SFX, but this felt like the more natural fit.)

My favourite bit, righteous correction of the show aside, is the bit of dialogue between Amy and Rory, talking about her fencing lessons. I feel like I really nailed that :) (You don't have to agree, but I'm squeeing because I get the sense you enjoy a good squee, even if you can't quite share in it.)

Oh yeah, I remember that part. It's funny, because if I were to read those lines, I would actually use totally different intonation on pretty much every line, haha. I'd make a recording to illustrate, but my roommate's currently asleep. :P I find it fascinating how different people will interpret lines differently-sort of like how different artists will illustrate the same scene in different ways, different podficcers will use different intonation in dialogue (and sometimes in the text itself) depending on the scene they're seeing mentally.

(And yes, I do enjoy squee! Especially squee on underappreciated stuff. Like podfic. \o/)

I'd love to hear how you read it, if you get a chance to record it later on! It's so "obvious" inside my own head, but with the absolute lack of dialogue tags, it's so open for interpretation.
