Fate flew forward, eyes blazing as she quietly commanded Bardiche. Bardiche answered and the targeted person was barely able to dodge the lightening-infused energy blast. With a quick flip of her wrist, Fate directed another attack towards the second person before using a Sonic Move to trip the third.
Bardiche let out a questioning 'Sir' and Fate quietly called forth Bardiche's Zanber form. She hesitated, not thinking she would actually have to go this far. Looking below, she caught the eyes of the new recruits. The three quickly held up their hands in surrender before collapsing to the ground. Fate smiled, nodding in agreement.
Within moments, the entire room was silent save for the sound of the three new recruits gasping for breath. Fate lightly landed on her feet, barely winded as she powered down her barrier jacket. Congratulating the recruits, Fate smiled and offered words of encouragement. They were quite a promising group, having been able to keep up with her for so long.
Hayate quickly stepped forward and thanked Fate for offering to cover the training session on such late notice before approaching the new recruits to talk to them about her expectations. With a small laugh, Fate only shook her head as she watched Hayate practically pounce on the three girls. It had felt odd to work with the recruits, but it had definitely been refreshing.
Turning to leave, Fate was pleasantly surprised to see Vivio chattering happily to Erio, practically bouncing in place as they waited near the doorway of the training room. She smiled as she watched Erio patiently listen, nodding every so often.
Before Fate could call out, Vivio turned and yelled out a greeting as she caught sight of her. Fate grinned, kneeling down and holding out her arms as Vivio ran over and practically knocked her down with her enthusiasm. Picking the small girl up, Fate kissed her on the cheek and listened with rapt attention as Vivio recounted her day. Walking over to a slightly embarrassed Erio, Fate playfully ruffled his hair in greeting.
Fate thanked Erio for watching Vivio for her, amused by the redness building in his cheeks as he assured her that it had been a fun afternoon. Vivio happily interrupted him to chime in that he was becoming even better than Zafira. Erio's ears turned bright red at the compliment and Fate tweaked Vivio's nose to distract her before Erio became even more flustered.

The three recruits watched with wide eyes as the mage who had shot them down in mere minutes calmly walked out of the room with a gentle smile as she carried a young girl and teased the young man beside her. They stared at Hayate who just shook her head and told them that they hadn't seen anything yet - the white devil would be training them next week.
