Yeah, it's definitely better thought out than the NDP reaction. Of course, Conservative responses are usually better thought out than the NDP responses I find.
Yeah; they tend to more rationally attack issues like his handling of the environmental profile.
Of course, they still make despicable attempts at misleading, such as: Mr. Dion was a failure as Environment Minister. During his time in office, he presided over a 34.6% increase in greenhouse gas emissions... which implies that the 34.6% increase happened while he was Environment Minister, when it was really over the Liberals' term in office; Dion was only Minister of the Environment from 2004 to 2006.
The new leader, who initially was given little chance to win, hailed his fellow candidates surrounding him on stage as a "Liberal Dream Team" that would defeat Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Tory government.
"We do not believe the Conservatives have bad intentions; we simply believe they lead to bad results," he said. Now this is my kind of politician! It's what I've been saying about many (NOT the Quebec Nation Bill) of Harper's decisions - I'm sure he has Canada's best interests in mind; I just fundamentally disagree with him on what's in Canada's best interests.
Hopefully in a federal election, the nice guy won't end up finishing last.
Nice guys usually lose, at least in federal politics. If Paul Martin had possessed even one tenth of Chretien's Machiavellian mean streak, we'd still be living under a Liberal majority. Successful prime ministers have usually been arrogant jerks.

Of course, would any of us care if Harper or Dion dyed their hair?

lol. They mention that three times in that little blurb. "Experiences difficulty in setting priorities" is so the next 'flip-flopper'.
