Nope, none whatsoever. But given the prevailing amount of prejudice that surrounds the "stigma" of being a Muggle-Born in the books, that isn't surprising.
I agree with celisnebula, at least in accordance with British Ministers. If the bloodline were to be discovered through imminent digging, those who appoint the Minister-to-be would not be happy. Regardless of suitablity, the stigma evident in the books is still being lifted: hell, the entire war boiled down to widespread racial discrimination.

That's what I assumed, too. But with so many fics lately that have Hermione ascending to Minister, it can't go unaddressed within the context of the story if it is unprecedented.
That is true. In the wake of Voldemort's war and Hermione's obvious eligibility for the position, there is every chance that any existing discrimination will be overcome.
