If Harry has told either of them about almost being sorted into Slytherin, it hasn't been indicated on the page.

My first instinct answer to that is NO. I know he told Dumbledore, but I don't think he told anyone else.

Haha, yes - that's why I said we have to keep it away from certain fics, because of course there are decent AUs and OCs out there (my mother of all fics invests heavily in both), but the sandworm is indiscriminate.
