Can't Remember...

I'm pretty sure the answer to all of these questions is Gryffindor, but I can't remember for sure. Which houses were the following people in when they attended Hogwarts: James, Lily, Remus, Sirius, and Hagrid? Were they all Gryffindors? And what about Wormtail? Can't imagine him being a Gryff, but why else would he hang with them?

James, Lily, Remus, Sirius, and Hagrid were all Gryffindors. We don't know about Peter. I assume he was a Gryffindor and not always completely worthless, but perhaps that's a dangerous assumption to make.

I think JKR has said that they're all in Gryffindor or at least all in the same house.

Sirius Riddle: What houses were Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, James Potter and Remus Lupin in? Everyone tells me they were all Gryffindor, but I won't believe it unless I hear it from Ms. Rowling herself!

The problem with that is that the questioner mentioned Lupin twice instead of Peter and no one has ever bothered to confirm Peter's house with her.

I'm pretty sure at one point, J.K.R. said that Hagrid had been in Hufflepuff. I don't know where the reference was, but I'm sure of it.

No. People often assumed that for some reason, but I'm pretty sure that somewhere on her website she says that he was in Gryffindor. If not there, then most likely in some interview. Check the Lexicon about that one -they're almost always right.
