I always used to have houseplants. When zingerella and I moved in together a few years ago and the houseplants started dying, we didn't replace them. I was always left with the impression that she didn't like houseplants. So I asked her about it.

...turns out it's because Luna eats them and then gacks everywhere.

Hmm, i've never found that it's a problem with tougher-leaved plants, only soft-leaved ones.. or is it "leafed"?

Oh yeah, right, it's spring time, and cats need vitamins. I remember my ex-GF's cat going outdoors every spring to eat grass.

She has a pot of cat grass though. she just comes to this mint plant to sleep in for some reason. Maybe the feeling of dirty under her chin reminds her of her childhood lost in a forest as a stray cat.

Cats like the smell of mint and wintergreen and a whole variety of other aromatic plants...
I know it's not aromatic, but apparently I can't keep Edith away from my spider plant...
When I got home this week, I discovered that it had been completely chewed allover and there were numerous puddles of leafy wharfff allover the floor... :(

I'm slowly coming to grips with the idea that this once beautifully flowing plant that costed me $20.00 has slowly become a chewed up, frayed, very sad little plant...
Guilty Edith... ;(
