MLP official site updated with what seems to be the new OP?! character profiles!! (Rainbow Dash is the new Firefly) etc. etc.

Also they made a Flash game, you guys

Awesome! My pony is named Adorbs. I made it to 750 pts before I petered out. Plus my internet connection is a wee bit too slow for the flash games to work at optimal speed. But it's super cuuuuute.

I have one question for you: WHO is this sexy unicorn pegasus known as Princess Celestia? She apparently rules Equestria (LOL), but how exactly does this work? Does she rule as a monarch, or more as a benevolent despot, her slender unobtainable beauty radiating out from the castle? She seems to me less like Majesty and more like the Sorceress from He-Man: not really involved with the day to day business of the kingdom, but there to dispense sage advice and kick ass if need be.

Princess Celestia: the highest form of pony evolution? I runno, she's supposed to be Twilight Sparkle's academic mentor. I for one am intrigued by those Greek-helmeted (?) pony guards standing at attention by the foot of her throne.

So I played until I unlocked the pegasus option (hahahaha) only to find that there's no way to save your progress auuugh! at least not yet--supposedly after 10/10 you'll be able to--and when I accidentally navigated away I lost everything. However!! I am loving the graphics so much. SO MUCH.

Is there something I'm missing here? I can't fill up Starlight's Kindness sparkle points. Am I really going to have to help Applejack until my wrist seizes up and my eyeballs fall out? There must be another way. Starlight needs to be a pegasus!

If there's another way I couldn't find it! I basically played the Applejack minigame a million times, weeping. Flawed design.

Careful though, you can't save your progress (yet), so if you do earn your wings, make sure not to quit/navigate away from the game or you'll lose them! I found out the hard way.
