My posts on the subject provide a highly uhh filtered experience, but. I just finished rereading the manga and I swear it's so good, you should read ittttttt, everyone should, btw all volumes except the last one are available on certain dodgy online manga sites that shall remain nameless but are easily googled? :D
!!!! Honey and Clover (orig. 「ハチミツとクローバー」) is an amazing manga by Umino Chica about the daily lives of a group of art school students and/or recent graduates making their way through school, work, and relationships. It is about lots of things including but not limited to: friendship, struggles with creative talent and/or the lack thereof, finding (or not finding) direction, dealing with unrequited love, 愛 vs 恋, the lolarity and travails of life as a starving student, etc. It is hilarious and moving and one of my all-time favorites! There are great female characters! I strongly recommend it to pretty much anyone who is not somehow allergic to the words "slice of life."
It was also made into a very excellent anime featuring BGM by Spitz and Suga Shikao, as well as an okay movie and a couple of dramas which I haven't seen but I hear are sort of meh.
