No workie today for me! I am free this week actually. Due to a misunderstanding, I thought I'd be going to London with Jeroen so I booked the week off LOL. After that, I heard that only the guys would be going, so yeah. I didn't feel like unbooking the week anyway, I got enough saved vacation days as it is, and no one else was going on holiday ( Read more... )

Lol I'm sure having your hubby around discouraged them from whistling. I like getting whistled at, as long as they're not too aggressive hehe.

Here, not sure whether they are being direct or not, I can't understand what they're saying! ;D

Well done on running that 15K distance. I am sure it was a challenge for you. Now Jeroen will have to play catch up with you :)

As far as 'cat-call' is concerned: of course they are doing that! They are men :)

Wow, 15km?? That's quite far! I think I'd drop dead after 2km if I even managed to get that far. But then again I prolly have the poorest 'uithoudingsvermogen' ever!! :P

What's a cat-call? Guys whistling at ya? I don't get many of those these days no more either, which prolly also has to do with the fact that I have a tall guy walking next to me most of the time. But while in Switzerland all of a sudden there were guys flirting with me again. Made me feel quite silly!

Yeah, I think that's what they call it when guys yell or whistle at you. Either way back in Mexico I used to get them all the time (then again, guys there would holler at a broom if it happens to be wearing a skirt)

Here in Holland I've only gotten whistled at twice, once when wearing a miniskirt and fishnet stockings (for a bachelorette party) and this time while running with my shorts on. ;)
