Cat doing weird

Our older cat Poes has been doing strange the past couple of weeks. He's vomited hairballs every now and then throught his life, but since two weeks ago, he's been vomiting constantly, between two to three times per day, sometimes a hairball comes out, but others it's his food undigested, so we were getting kind of worried ( Read more... )

What are you feeding the cat now?

Royal Canin for indoor cats, "Odor control" version.

The vet recommended the Royal Canin Hypoalergenic version if the cat keeps on puking. Yesterday he only threw up once but no food came out, just some white goo.

I hope that Poes will do better some time soon. How's work these days? :)

Hope he doesn't have something like a tumour in his stomach? Or an ulcus?

Does feeding him little bits of food at a time work? Our cat has "Blaasgruis"; he gets special diet food, which he tends to spread all over the living room in a few hours, unless we feed him little bits at a time..

Hope he's going to be ok!

I hope it's nothing serious, the Vet couldn't detect anything weird when we took him last tuesday.

As for the food, they usually are fed in the morning before we go to work, and in the evening, but none of the cats is much of an "over-eater", they eat a few bits, walk away, come back a few hours later.... By the time we come back from home there is still food in their bowls so I don't think he's pigging in.

We'll just keep an eye on him and if this keeps up they will do a blood test.

(Yesterday he only puked once and no food came out, yay!)

I hope he'll be alright. It could be the new food I guess, you'd think it would show up sooner though.
