This is quite the story to this one. I first tried three different programs before I found one that didn't kill the quality of the DVD. Made the avi-rip with that one after three trices with different sizes (I KNOW I SUCK) Then downloaded yet another program, and used that program to increase the contrast and remove the disclaimer (just text, no ( Read more... )

if you compress the video you'll lose some of the quality. somewhere about 70-100mb file is plenty enough quality for most computers. I think I used a program called total video converter to do mine, if you can find a copy with a keygen you're onto a winner for sure.

I rip mine on the WMP format on high quality, works a treat for me. If you get hold of the program you'll see what I mean
