(though maybe I'll go back to her LJ and leave money under its pillow later) because it is happy-making and my journal is getting dusty again----->
A Fangirl Meme:
Comment with the name of a female character and I'll tell you why I love her. (If I don't love her, I'll try to make something up that sounds convincing. :op)

I would throw a lemon, too, but these characters? Are awesome and make me full of the happy. And so I am too distracted to even attempt to aim anything like silverware or fruit, so you can consider yourself free from either of those diabolical acts. This time.
And so...
Faith Yokas: Oh, my beloved. I can totally identify with sunkrux's feelings about Aeryn Sun when I think of Faith Yokas because she was so definitively my rock as a character---I absolutely got lost in her or behind her or something when I needed to both step outside of myself and be confronted by myself the most. I know that doesn't seem like it should work, but Faith was complex enough to do it all ( ... )

Since I've already delayed it all way too much (I'm sorry, dogsitting for three very high maintenance dog left no chance for in depth typing last week) I'll hit them both up! :)
Brenda Leigh JohnsonWhat can I say but that I fell absolutely head over heels in love with her from her first entrance onto The Closer scene. From her no holds barred, get out of my way gentlemen, no excuses accepted, my way or the highway attitude even in the face of all of the obvious bad vibes that she was getting through to the likes of "If I wanted to be called a bitch to my face, I'd still be married"...I question the judgement of anybody who wasn't utterly smitten with her in .25 seconds. :) Oh, first season Brenda---I love her as much as ever, but there was something extra impressive about that first season when my girl had to fight so hard for absolutely everything. When no one opened a door to her and welcomed her without total prejudice over the fact that she was a woman, a southerner, not ' ( ... )

Yes, I know, I am ridiculous. I think the only thing that I knew her from was "Phenomenon," and I was not big on that movie the first time that I saw it because I am really not a John Travolta fan and he colored the experience for me. I think that he is a great human being from what I've seen, but I just cannot stand him as an actor. I did come around to the movie 'after the Kyra loving fact' when I watched it again because focusing on her character drew me in in a new way.

Oh. Wait a minute. I kind of used her formula for cheating in my own response to your meme, didn't I? Damnit.
*shamefaced*
The truth of it is, you are The Mammoth, and The Mammoth has ongoing and open rights to anything and everything she wants and asks for. *bows*
And so, first---
Izzie StevensIf you told me ahead of time that my favorite character on Grey's was going to be the perky blonde girl who is full of 'yay' and smiles and bright and shiny thoughts even when things turn to crap, I would have laughed in your face. On paper, the outline for her character and I shouldn't really gel at all. Meredith and her angst, dark and twisty, and doldrums are so much more my angsty style ( ... )

Kara ThraceKara! (That just kind of needed to be exclaimed because when I say her name, I tend to say it with an exclamation point ( ... )
