i had heard tell of these magical GIANT (150 g) Green and Black's bars, and a few weeks ago i finally found them. my patience paid off and they were on sale yesterday (a mere 40 cents-worth of sale, but a sale nonetheless) so i snapped one up. chow.com calls the Butterscotch bar the Holy Grail of Green & Black's, so how could i resist?

does anyone know of any Champagne-flavoured candy that's sold in their area? it seems like a natural thing - sweet, tart, bubbly - for candy to go for. imagine champagne Pop Rocks, or those little soda bottle sour candies in a fat bubbly bottle shape.

I'm making chocolate holiday pops, and I was just wondering what a good way to "spice up" the lollipops is. I'm already going to mix milk chocolate with caramel and I'm entertaining the idea of mixing white chocolate with chocolate cookie bits (though I don't know where I'd get the cookie bits...oreos maybe ( Read more... )

Has anybody else tried these? My sisters and I both tried them, and personally, you can hardly taste any vanilla. The mint still overwhelmes everything. But is kind of a cool idea, and you can taste a tiny bit of vanilla. So if you like the normal York Patties, these are practically the same thing. I tried the new multi-fruit twizzlers. The texture is very strange, but the best part was when we opened the package, and the car was filled with an explosion of fruit smell.
