i can only take so much of persistently bigoted/obnoxious/creepy host brothers and bucket showers and permanent dampness and awful movies that i can tell are terrible even though i can't understand either the jokes or the romantic soliloquys and representing a school and a country with an enthusiasm that i normally comfortably eschew
