WAHHHHH! You killed Ash!

Seriously, I'm actually tearing up, here. I'm not a huge fan of Pokemon, though it's been amusing when I've watched it on and off, and I liked seeing Ash grow up a bit, as he has in recent seasons. Ash and Pikachu are always so sweet together...

And yes, Jessie, James, and Meowth WOULD come to the funeral. Those three have worked WITH Ash enough times, they almost qualify for friends, in a weird way...

I actually have a soft spot for Jesse and James being good guys, but yes, Ash and Pikachu's friendship is extremely powerful and well-done.

No bricks here, I know all about killing off popular characters. Tommy Oliver still hates me. :)

*calms down after a while* Well, despite the fact that you killed Ash, it's a good read. And everything about the funeral would be true. And the event that killed him would SO be possible if it were real life or a fanfic (I really doubt they'd kill Ash in the anime, why would they? He's the STAR, even Jessie, James and Meowth know that).

Thank you, hon. We all know that in the series, Ash will survive because of his Supah Main Character POWAH. Just like Team Rocket will always survive because of their Comic Relief POWAH. Or something :3

Well... there are some... like you. =P I read a fic where Pikachu died of old age once... And I'm just not a fan of death fics... except in Harry Potter... lots of people die there...

And, yes, that is SO true! It's as true as Brock always being so lady-clingy. ^-^

Oh wow. So sad, but so beautiful and poignant. Ash would totally release the Pokémon so they'd be safe! And Pikachu staying with him to the end ... he so would.

I love the touch of Jessie, James, and Meowth going to the funeral. I wondered if you would do that. And the "wild" Pokémon coming back.

Brock's words at the end are my favorite part. Again, so beautiful! Indeed, a great legacy. And I love that they're buried together, as they should be.

Truly an amazing ficlit.
