Reading this, and then reading the others comments, I really have nothing to add. This is a great finish to a great tale, even without knowing the full cannon story, your writing is so well written it doesn't matter. You've definately drawn me into another fandom ^_^

I comment to perpetuate the circle, you write something great, you get comments urging you to write more, you write something else great and the circle continues.

*gathers self together* I just realized how completely incoherent I must sound in nearly all my comments on all of your awesome fics, and they kind of don't justify the amount of awesomeness that is Day by Day, so... comment numero duo. XD;

The thing that really broke it for me was that whole of the last bit where Layton and Luke are like SUDDEN CONFRONTATION and then the epic breakdown and the hug scene, the hug scene, asdghdngfjkjsdfs I think I actually teared up at that point oh my god it was so sweet. ;__; And Layton forcing himself to deny the fact that he is Luke's father for all those years, "because he isn't", and then Luke and do you love me and asdghfgjltgfgdgsfd back I go to being incoherent all over again and THIS IS YOUR FAULT. XD THIS IS WHY I CAN NEVER LEAVE PROPER COMMENTS ON YOUR FIC. BECAUSE THIS.

The ending scene was so clear in my head. Getting it on paper was kind of tough because I didn't want it to be too cheesy. So thank you thank you thank you for the kind words, and I'm uber-glad you enjoyed it!
