I've been getting these emails from fake Blizzard.com

They say that I've been trying to sell my account, or trade in game items for real life cash.  I was like... um, no?  I haven't played in years.  One, because my computer turned into suck a couple of years back.  And two, until recently, I haven't been able to afford it.  So I sent an email to real Blizzad asking wtf this was.  They haven't gotten ( Read more... )

You can savely ignore that stuff. I don't even think Blizzard will come back to you that shortly, since it happens so much they don't have a chance of blocking it or deactivating it anyway. I get 2-3 of those a day. By now I have a "mark as read, delete"-filter for any mails with "your account" and "blizzard" in them. Because, since, if blizzard wants something from you, you'll get a mail without typos ( ... )

I already forwarded the emails to hacks@blizzard.com. I find it amusing how worried I was that someone hacked my account until I remembered I hadn't paid for it in years, lol
