Maybe the time is just right for a story which reflects the positive benefits of child labor, date rape and food poisoning? ... *cough* ... sorry, don't want to shit on a rainbow here, it's just that after reading all the original versions of the grimm's storys it kind of takes the knack out of those story's .. like Cindarella ... *shivers with disgust*
I'm beginning to suspect that a major copyright has lapsed and "Snow White" is now back in the public domain. But seriously: Once Upon a Time, Mirror Mirror, Snow White and the Huntsman, there's suddenly a lot of Snow White stories showing up this year
I thought about this yesterday evening, and another idea struck me:
Did you notice, that once a movie is sucessfull, there are TONS of movies like this around in an instant? Like with the penguin movies, the zoo movies, the robot-movies, the monster-movies, the ghost-movies, etc etc? Maybe they are all just juping on the bandwagon ...
