His mind was so focused on the images that Jim was passing into him (the slap of skin on skin, body fluids shared between them, fingers grasping and nails scratching, pushing into tightness that seemed almost impossible, grunting into a motion of rhythm until two bodies were one and could not be separated)

A few minor things, only because you're a good enough writer to make them worthwhile:
you mean taut, not taught (the former=tight, the latter=past tense of to teach)
you mean past, not passed (the former=direction, the latter=past tense of to pass)
