This school year has had it's ups and downs. Like everyone these days, jobs are becoming more and more stressful. And yes, I'm thankful I have a job. And one that I enjoy. Mostly. I love being in the classroom, working with my students. Figuring out what makes them tick, what trick will help them understand that great abyss of knowledge, otherwise

I was just having a similar conversation with D's 3rd grade teacher this year. Her son is 4, and she's beginning to realize that as much as she loves teaching and has to do her best (because she has that kind of passion), she also needs to be there for her son and her husband -- and herself.
