I still love you, BUT they can lie. Honest. Even if it's not their fault they aren't accurate anymore there are still lying measuring tapes. You know you're wrong!!!

If they aren't accurate it isn't their fault it is whoever made them inaccurate's fault. The actual tape measure isn't lying. it is telling the truth as it knows it. People who said the Earth was the centre of the universe/solar system weren't lying they simply had limited knowledge. The measuring tape only has the knowledge it has therefore it does not lie if it tells you what it knows.
