001; Like Chocolate
Stevie thinks Xabi is like chocolate, especially those brown eyes of his. He loses himself in him each and everytime he looks into those eyes. He remembers the first time he looks into those eyes intently.
He remembers how they kissed one time, with dark chocolate in Xabi's mouth. Stevie hated dark chocolate, he hated its slightly bitter taste, he thinks that it should not even be called chocolate. Xabi though, preferred dark chocolate to any other kinds of chocolates. He felt that it was a change from the sweetness of all the other types of chocolates. But while Xabi kissed him, his tongue rolling over his, the piece of chocolate melting into a bittersweet smooth texture, Stevie found himself falling in love with dark chocolate. As they broke off after a while, their faces flushed, taking in ragged breaths, and Stevie stared deep into those Spanish eyes.
In them, he saw how bitter, bitter as the chocolate, Xabi felt about the rumours of him going to Chelsea, he saw how sweetly, as sweet as chocolate, Xabi loved him so. Xabi looks away quickly, but Stevie pulls him into his embrace. "I'll never leave, Xabi. Never." He whispered.

002; Like a Parent
Xabi hates to be ill. He hates it, but he can't avoid it. The weather in England was a little unbearable for him when he first came. Adjusting from the warmer climate of Spain to the colder England was hard. He hates being ill, having a stuffy nose, an irritating cough, and having to see a doctor. Bitter medicine wasn't his ideal cure, but he forces it down to get better. Also, he hates how Stevie practically bosses him around all the time like a mother hen.
Xabi sometimes wonder if Alex's constant absence causes Stevie to take care of the kids till he became more of the mother hen instead of her. Stevie seems to know almost everything a sick person needs, and he seems to know exactly how to coax Xabi into consuming his medicine. His lips are almost always on Xabi's as Xabi rejects the bitter pills. He strokes Xabi's arms, whispering as he nibbled Xabi on the ear.
He knows where Xabi's soft spot is; he knows everything about Xabi. Xabi chuckles, but relunctantly gulps his medicine down with a glass of water. Stevie's arms encircle Xabi's waist. "That's a good boy." He says. Xabi rolls his eyes, then turns around and brought his lips to Stevie's. He pulls back after a while, his lips a little flushed. His mouth curls into a smile. "Yes, 'Daddy'." He whispers.

003; Candyman
Stevie thinks Lukas Podolski looked like a kid in a candy shop when he scored so many times against San Marino (part of him envied Lukas for being able to score so many times and jumping into Bastian's arms nearly each time he score.). Xabi thought there was nothing special about it. Xabi thought that, if Spain were up against a country like San Marino, maybe Raul or Morientes could scored like that too. They argued for a moment, just sitting at the couch, argueing. Stevie thought maybe things would be different, for Raul or Morientes weren't as young and paceful as Lukas. Xabi thought having experience was better. Neither was going to give in to each other.
Stevie soon gives in having been unable to rebut Xabi's last point, he sighs and just leans back into the cushions. A victorious smile spreads across Xabi face. Stevie grumbles under his breath, then reaches for the pack of candies on the table in front. He reaches into the pack and pops one into his mouth, and Xabi's smile grins wider. He reaches over to Stevie. "Gimme one of those, CandyMan." He says.
Stevie raises an eyebrow. "CandyMan?" He repeats the word with a mixed tone of curiosity and disbelief. He couldn't believe what Xabi just called him. Nobody, not even Alex has called him that before.
"Yeah, CandyMan." Xabi confirms with a nod. "You're my CandyMan if Lukas is Bastian's CandyKid."

004; Like a Child
Sometimes, Stevie thinks of Xabi as a child, or rather, Xabi portrays himself as a child. For Francesc Fabregas's 20th birthday, he had invited nearly all the players of the football teams in the Premier League, or at least that's what Steive thought. And the guest list certainly did not leave out Stevie himself and Xabi.
Even before the party itself, Xabi had heard Cesc had received a present from Robin. He didn't believe until the day came and he saw a new bright and shiny watch resting on Cesc's wrist. While Stevie sat aside sipping from his cup, Xabi hung out with his Spanish teammate, bugging Cesc if the rumours were true. Cesc gave up, leaning in closer to Xabi's ear so others wouldn't hear. Xabi grinned at Cesc, and Stevie was filled up with jealousy as he watched on. Turning back to the bartender, he asked for another drink and gulped it down just before Xabi began his ambush.
Xabi pestered Stevie for something like what Robin did for Cesc, for a watch for his birthday (though inside, he wished for a ring), like how a child would pester his or her mother for a new toy. Stevie, shocked, didn't know what to do or say, but he liked it though, he liked the fact how Xabi whined when he took him home, and he liked how Xabi looked with the pout on his lips when Stevie said he would get him a present when his birthday came, which was quite a while later.
However, Stevie did not wait for his birthday to come months later. It only took him a few days before he presented Xabi with a watch he bought in an empty dressing room. Xabi was elated, and even though he rewarded Stevie with something they did almost every week, it felt a little more special to Stevie, and he thought it was something similar to how a child would kiss his mother on the cheek.

005; Like a Dream
He thought everything was gone when Joe Cole scored that goal. When he saw it enter the net, his eyes turned cloudy, cloudy with tears that he never cried, tears he held back. They would never make it to the finals, he thought, they'd never be able to fight back against Chelsea, the European Cup was Chelsea's. He thought all hopes of winning the cup was gone, smashed. They beat Barcelona, they fought through PSV, but now, they'd let in that one goal, and that one goal happened to be Chelsea's. It was a nightmare just to be at that game, and Stevie wanted to wake from this nightmare, badly. But something told him otherwise.
Rafa told them not to give up hope. He said they'd make it through to the finals. He said they'd fight back. Part of Stevie thought Rafa was right. He believed in Rafa. Rafa got them to the finals once; he can do it again. But it wasn't like two years ago. They were a goal back, there was nearly no chance of them getting behind the defence and bag a goal. But Rafa sent them out there at Anfield that night, and they won.
Stevie's vision was blurred, blurred with tears of joy this time. As he watched Dirk hit the deciding penalty into the net behind Cech, he thought it was too good to be true. A dream, he thought, another dream, one that he didn't want to wake up from. But then Xabi came, and planted a quick kiss onto his cheek, unseen by the cameras around them, unseen by the fans, who all focused on Pepe, the hero of the night. It shocked Stevie; they had promised not to be to obvious. But then he realised that everything was real. He felt like he was transported back in time to Istanbul, when they spent the night together in the hotel room, where he thought that was a dream as well, but as Xabi sank his teeth slightly into Stevie's lip, Stevie realised it was real, and that he never wanted it to end.
