Debriel Minibang; Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow
Here's the artwork for the other amazing Debriel fic I claimed in the debriel_mini, 'Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow' written by the lovely moonbeamdancer (if you haven't already, go and check out her fic- it's amazing!). It can be found on her page or on the debriel-mini page :)
So without further ado, here's the art for 'Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow' :)
The first one is my mammoth banner for the story- I tried to capture the varying degrees of their relationship (so basically torn apart by Ruby/rumour/to some extent-Kali), together but apart in terms of distance (I love the texting in the fic. It was amazing to see how powerful the connection between them was, even when they were physically miles apart :) -the texts in that part of the banner are quoted from the fic!) and then finally together- I also tried to gradually make the colours more vibrant to show their growing happiness through these transitions of their relationship- hopefully I managed to do the fic justice!;
This didn't turn out quite how I wanted... I still like it though (this was originally going to be the banner but I'm not entirely pleased with how Gabriel's eyes turned out). teacher!Gabriel and young!dean :);
Here's a kiss between young!Dean and Gabriel. I used the darker tones of paint around them to try and reflect the initial forbidden/secretive nature of their relationship;
Finally, the following three have been borne out of my (slight) obsession with Shakespeare- naturally the title and the use of Macbeth as the play in the early stages of this fic inspired me (I couldn't help but compare Ruby to Lady Macebeth given their similar journeys as characters. As for Gabriel, his initial views on his relationship with Dean reminded me of Macbeth's own initial reluctance to pursue what he really wanted). Hence, here is my trio of Macbeth-quote orientated artwork;
