yeah, we get a lot of that exact same thing at Taco John's...luckily I'm high enough on the chain of command that I can actually count down drawers myself, so if that happens, I just tell the person that I'll count the drawer if they're willing to wait about 5-10 minutes for me to do so.
However, I've found that if it turns out that we are right, and the customer is just mistaken, then they usually end up complaining about their food...
people will do anything for a bit of money or free stuff.
