I just got home from seeing her and at 50 the woman can still put on one hell of a show! I did notice a few technical issues through the show but by and large, great energy and stage presence! A much, much better experience than seeing Peter Murphy 3-4 years ago ( Read more... )

Yes, I heard earlier today and had been meaning to post something about it. Thanks for the reminder! I am just hoping Black Rose and the other place who's name escapes me haven't been caught in the fire.

Black Rose is unharmed by the fire although the store is shrinking in size according to the London members of lippy_addicts. I'm sure there will be more news to come from the fashion communities on LJ in the next few days.

Cool. I will definitely make sure to say hi the next time I see you. I am not out in the scene much these days (just too busy) but will be at the And One show tonight and am volunteering at Blacksun. In fact I can barely wait till Blacksun. I have wanted to go for a few years now but haven't been in a position to go till now.

I hear she is doing this "short tour" to see if it's worth doing a larger tour later. Should prove interesting...

I am enjoying it out here. I was far too busy with grad school the first two years but now I am getting the opportunity to take advantage of living in this fabulous city. It's a creative's dream.
