I have no idea who any of these people are (well, I guess they're baseball players...), I don't follow sports at all, I don't even know how the hell I ended up in your LJ, to be honest - and I thought this story was absolutely beautiful. Your writing, and the sense of constant tension and the way you capture it, and the way that parts of it echoed my own adolescent insecurities while the whole thing was amplified by the gay aspect, and, just...everything.

You've made me want to cyber-stalk baseball players, which is odd, but other than that, I'm really glad I stumbled across this! Thanks!
