I miss Big 3 fic! They were so perfect for stories. Sigh! But if you're gonna keep reviving 'em like this... no complaints here. ;)

The lights chased and the bells rang, and Chavez played like he'd been hypnotized deaf dumb and blind.

Ah ha ha Tommy!

totally feel you on the big three! they were the inspiration for the whole damn thing.

also, rockstar, goddamn right he's a pinball wizard. i was about nine years old and my parents didn't have any who albums, but they did have elton john's greatest hits and his cover of that song, which i deeply love and which still sounds more right to me that daltrey's.

Huddy is probably the only Athletic I would ever actually buy that he does crossword puzzles.

My favourite scene is the one where he catches Zito sneaking out of Chavvy's room in Baltimore, how Z colours a little at being caught doing this, but he is entirely unremorseful about Chavvy being fucked up.

You know I love Mulder as a bastard, but it pleases me to know I do have limits. He was too much of a dick in this one for me to root for him, and I could actually remain focused on the story :P

It's also nice to forget about the el rey reality for awhile, and see Mulder as something else. (Also, I'm pretty sure your fic was the reason I had a dream that ended up with me sitting on Markus' lap, making out, so I owe you some thanks)

word.

mulder's usually a bastard with at least a couple redeeming qualities, i think is the big difference here. also he's usually pretty protective of chavvy, even when they're just buds (because god knows chavvy needs protecting).

heh, happy to provide all the dirty dreams i can! try writing about them nonstop for like five years and then have to decide whether the dreams are better when zito's making out with you, or his teammates. it's really a coin flip.

You know, though I have had dreams where they have been together and nobody bats an eyelid, I have yet to have any dreams with ballplayers making out with eachother. And that saddens me.

I think I liked this one better than Heal Our Losses. I think it's the distance you've put between us and Chavvy's unending manpain by having Hudson as the narrator. Because, man, Heal Our Losses is like having an open, gaping wound repeatedly poked at and this is like an unpleasant but dull pain in, say, your ankle.

And, of course, you know I'll snap up the promise of a possibly happy ending for Chavvy like nobody's business.

Also, have to say I love your Huddy voice.

Are you still fielding requests for remixes and the like? 'cause I'd love to see a Danny-perspective remix of Catalyst. And maybe a follow up to this. How does Danny deal with going to the ballpark the next day? :P

hee, 'chavvy's unending manpain' i think would the name of my fic archive if i ever put together a fic archive. but i am totally on board with you, the original was angstfest central, this is easier to read and chavvy's easier to sympathize with, yes?

anyway, 9000 words into the outside in remix, i can't wrap my head around other things just yet, but i have backburners and that's just where those prompts are going. either of those stories are just going to end up terrible for danny haren, you know this.

Ahahaha, that was kind of the point of requesting them.
