into the breach with me, dear friends. i got that job as a canvass director for senator obama, and went door-to-door for four hours yesterday. this is some crazy stuff! there are people who see fresh-faced youngsters with clipboards and say, "honey, give these kids some money," before we can even get into the spiel, and other people who yell at ( Read more... )

Oh god, so much love. Sam folding Dean's messages and putting them away, Dean's expressive face, Sam's endless crush that started feeling wrong growing up, Dean's mouth, Sam's grabby hands, Dean freaking out...I liked everything as usual.
Can I, like, pay you for writing wincest for ever and ever? And ever?
You are so one of the best writers I know, and the fact that you have only watched season 1 makes this ever more awesome.
You've nailed the characters in a way that makes me love them even more! I wonder how you'd write John? *ponders* :)
Great job (and doesn't that sound like a sad understatement), like usual. I hope to see more from you!

so, i'm gonna get to a mass answering of comments at some imminent point when i have time to dedicate, but i wanted to let you know first. i was thinking about what you said, about john, puzzling on that magnificent bastard and bam! new idea for a fic, kid. no lie, we'll see if i can pull it off (older badass-type dudes are tough to write), but i wanted to thank you for that.

and! i am finally able to download things again, and promptly ripped through season 2, am 4 eps into season 3, and have been TAKEN OVER BY THIS FANDOM. you know what it's like.

thanks again, man, truly.

but i wanted to thank you for that.
Oh, you are SO welcome I have no words to truly convey how welcome you are ;)
I can't believe you are writing John, I'm so happy to hear that, he's one favourite of mine. There aren't a lot of fics that pull him off well, mainly because most writers tend to put him into the background of the fics, acting like a cliche all the time. And obviously I often enjoy him anyway, even if his reasons are rarely explored, but I'd like to see him more often on fics :)
Considering how ou write D&S I think you can't wrong with John too, because it's your unique view of the characters (not biased by other opinions maybe?) that make your characters look so new and refreshing and fleshed out.
and have been TAKEN OVER BY THIS FANDOM. you know what it's like.AH! I KNEW THAT WOULD HAPPEN *lol* You are in a bad position, my friend. SPN sucks your brain out if you aren't careful ( ... )

dude, friend away! you know i am down. i don't really post all that often outside of fic, as i'm sure you've noticed, but you're totally welcome to it all.

and yeah, i might like the hell out of this john story you got me on, by the way. he is such a wreck without even knowing it, which is what appeals to me.

EXACTLY what I need this early sunday morning!

Thank you for the enjoyable read. *hugs*

And this:
Dean tastes like candy and liquor and fire and other things that are dangerous in high doses, ... *drool*

Oh, this was just so perfect. I loved the boys here. Loved Sam talking for Dean and loved Dean scratching "yes" into Sam's chest.

Perfect

Argh, I made a whole commented, and LJ eated it. Let's see whether I can remember when I said....

I loved this. JA gives Dean such an expressive face that I could completely envision him carrying on his half of a conversation entirely through expression and gesture. His panic and Sam's are both so believable. And the ending, without being superexplicit, is still so intense. Great story!

WOW. When Dean leans over Sam the first time to kiss him? I felt my whole body clench up in anticipation and then it was just joy, joy, joy. This was wonderful.
