A tangle of thick red curls wrapped about his fingers - the rising sun danced through the bundle, catching the color and setting it aflame as it spilled onto her pillow.
A sigh. A kiss. Sweat slicking his skin, sliding over hers.
A stranger at the bar. A smile. A bet lost to David.
Fire. He wanted fire.
Fire in her hair… fire in her eyes… fire building between their bodies, flaming closer to the powder keg that would be his reaction to her.
A thrust. A cry.
An explosion.
Sparks. He wanted sparks.
