Silence in the Library

I know I am late to catch up but I finally watched Silence in the Library and I think that it is the best episode I've seen so far since last season.  Steven Moffat is brilliant, I am so glad that if someone has to take over for RTD it is him.  His stuff is just worlds apart from any other writer for Who.  I loved everything about that episode from ( Read more... )

*lol*

It's, like, several SHADES OF AWESOME isn't it?

I actually sat half-on, half-off my couch whilst watching the trailer for next week then danced around my house (whilst also trying to get ready to go out, which was interesting!

Is it next week yet??? XD

It is so many shades of awesome!!! I haven't been this excited about a finale in awhile, it is fun for my fangirl heart, haha!

So did you manage to watch the trailer, dance around the house and get ready to go out? You are too cute!

:D

That is exactly what I did - I watched the trailer whilst half-on, half-off the couch making little squeaking noises, then ran downstairs and got ready whilst also posting and commenting on LJ, then met my friends and fangirled at them incessantly, interspersed with apologies becuase I didn't think they were into it, which made my friend Claire confess, rather shyly, that because they'd been so skint recently they've been spending Saturday nights in more the past few weeks and they're now totally hooked on it XD

Wonder if I can get them to come along to the DW exhibition again next month? *grins*

I know, it's brilliant, isn't it? Fires in Pompeii is till probably my favourite of S4, but Silence in the Library is a close second.

As for the spoilers, I can't wait for Ianto to meet the Doctor. As you said, it will be the stuff of legend. While I admit I'm not the biggest Rose-lover, I just can't wait to see everyone else.

And it would just be the icing on an already awesome cake if Saxon were to return...

It really was brilliant, Moffat is some sort of genius I tell you. But Fire in Pompeii, that is my second fave of the season that I have seen so far, I really loved that episode too, for different reasons. The creepy ones though, they get me every time, I adore them.

Ianto and the Doctor, guh!!! Even if they are just on the same screen together....I mean, really, Ianto is companion material, as much as that might make Jack jealous ;) And both of them can really work a suit, you know? LOL!

And oh, Saxon...Even just a glimpse of him will make me happy!

Agree 100% that Silence in the Library was awesome, creepy, had me on the edge of my seat and I really enjoyed Alex Kingston. Loved her in ER! I really wanted her to let some stuff slip about the Doctor.

I do think you'll enjoy Turn Left with Rose in it, if you haven't already watched it. They actually mention the Torchwood team in it (okay, you know they are coming up so no real spoiler there.) I was rather hoping in the alternate reality, Tosh and Owen would show up but no such luck. But the preview for the next show was so good, makes me want to see it NOW! I think it will be amazing! No sign of the Master but we can always hope RTD wants to go out with a bang and has it hidden. Ha!

Yeah, I frikkin' loved that episode, gonna watch it with Peter tomorrow. It is on too late on Friday nights here for him to watch with me, so I save them for a lazy day and I think after today with the party and stuff we will need a lazy day tomorrow! Plus, not gonna lie, slightly hanging from going out last night ;)

And oh, please, PLEASE RTD let you have one certain Simm!Master/Saxon up your sleeve!!!
