Just gave it another read and it definitely isn't my most fave thing I have ever written, now that I look back on it.  I was just proud of having submitted something for it.  I have this thing for writing masturbation in fics, I love the dynamic you can create with it, I just didn't get exactly what I was going for in it I guess.    My fave

Masturbation in fic can really work well, it's something I almost wish I had the chance to use more often (and damn, it could work so well with someone like Sam) and as you may have gathered from the last comment I left on the Hustler post, you do that scenario very damn well. This is also really quite stirring, but definitely more melancholy than hot.

I might have to muster the will to check out the HP fic you mention, even though I haven't read in that fandom for almost a year now. At least it sounds Remus-centric, he was always my favourite character :)

Hi again! We are all over the place in each other's journals lately, yay!

With Sam, oh hell it works, I mean too good almost. I have done it once with him (wow that sounds dirty, hehe, I wish) and it just of wrote itself, it goes with that needy, desperate and selfish side of him so well. You should totally try it. *nudge nudge* But yeah, I was feeling blue when I wrote this, and that came through. Honestly though, I think most fics where I write masturbation come through with at least a hint of sadness. I dunno why.

Read the HP you say?? Yes! Remus was my fave, is my fave, will always be my fave. His character is full of delicious flaws that are way too good not to use to their fullest extent. If you are so inclined to give them a read, the links are there to my AFFN page : )
