I love that scene, although for some reason it still seems heaps more like platonic love to me than any of the Kirk/Spock interactions during the series. Don't know why, though!

I've had way too much fun finding gems like that in my TOS rewatch so far, Jim and Bones are just so wonderful together regardless of the slashy undertones (though let's face it, more fun with, yes?)

He truly was, it makes me infinitely sad to think that he has been dead now for ten years :(

I enjoy him and Shatner's chemistry in a completely different way than I enjoy Shatner's and Nimoy's chemistry. Hehe.

They are rather lovely together and I've always loved Bones (original and new flavour *g*) but if I were to delve about in the ST fandom it would still be K/S (TOS), Bones/Pike (I blame Sev and ND) or Bones/Kirk (reboot) I think...

I stand right now at K/S (TOS) and Bones/Kirk (reboot) with a love also for Bones/Pike and Kirk/Pike in the reboot fandom :)
