My daughter feels the same. She does work for Gap now and loves it (and they her). I will have to tell her about this.

I mean, sure, shit like that can happen during the day, and we get our fair share of creepers, but this is just off the charts wrong. That we have a unisex dressing room freaks a lot of moms of tween age girls out, and I guess this is partly why.

So your daughter works for Gap? I might be moving to Gap when our store closes in September, or maybe just to a different Old Navy close by.

She loves it SO much more than Old Navy. Classier, neater, nicer clothes, nicer clientele. And, higher pay. Grin. They are great, too, about her whacked school schedule. She tends to work in Gap Kids the most.

Unfortunately this happens in a lot of places you wouldn't expect to be a problem... If you could see the security statistics for most universities for instance, they're really bloody scary. Eeep!

I know, it's scary, isn't it?? I think when you're in a certain industry/job market whatever, you see things that others would just never, ever think of, and why would they think of them??? It's just frikkin scary.

God, I'm glad I don't work with the public any more. The world at large is full of weirdos. It was bad enough when I used to work answering telephone calls for mail order, but then when I started volunteering in telephone counselling it just got worse.

There's some sick puppies out there. Though in some ways I guess that kind of exhibitionism, whilst really gross and upsetting for whoever it is foisted upon, is less worrying than forcing himself on someone...

I can always look on the bright side, me :)

Whether it's night or not really doesn't make that much of a difference. In the same complex where I work a man was arrested for molesting a kid in the cinema toilets (in broad daylight). And it's meant to be a "good" suburb.

Horrid truth is, this is painfully common in retail. You wouldn't believe the special brand of weirdos I got throughout my shoe-shilling days. Or maybe you would. The product and level of service practically does the job for you, y'know? *shudders at memories*
