Hey, you've seen all my posts about running, right? I got motivated by someone else on here, but join me and be my virtual workout buddy! The more the merrier
( ... )
Ahhhhhhhhhh you make me feel totally lazy.......I'm trying!! I'm getting my sister to be the person who pushes me but both of us pretty much don't care that much so it's kind of useless....I'll keep trying though!!
This may sound silly but your post got me thinking about the conflict of reality and ideal. :D
Anywho, losing my weight was never that topical to me but I've heard it helps a lot if you have a workout partner. I guess it is more fun to do things together with someone. Also, that person can also give you a necessary kick in the butt (even literally, why not? :D) when you're too lazy.
Hahahaha....my sister is the only one available to me that I'm not ashamed to work out in front of, but at the same time....we don't really push each other, we just make fun of each other...
Well, I'm not sure about how much of a problem you have but, if/when it is serious, you can try some of these things: - make a list where you have to check what you have to do (one of them being exercise) - make an agreement of sorts with your sister (e.g. to exercise at a certain hour) - make a bet with your sister/have a competition with her, possibly with a prize (e.g. "I will lose more than you") - if you have a certain thing you did not allow yourself, you can agree with yourself that it can be your prize if you reach a certain goal (e.g., "if I lose 6 pounds, I will buy that figurine") - tell us about your achievements here (so we can cheer you on :) )
Ahhhhhhh.......I ran today though!! I stuck to it even though I wanted to give up......hopefully I'll see results by the time the end of next month rolls by but I feel a lot better?
