iTunes help

So i aquired some music... and i would like to sync this music to my iPod, only it wont allow me to. I got a copy of both of Tegan and Sarah's CD and Sainthood automatically converted to iTunes but The Con wont... both are MP3 format.
any suggestions?

So the music is on your computer? When you double-click it does it play on your Itunes?
