Word association meme: you comment on this entry and I give you five words that I associate with you. Then you write an entry explaining what these words mean to you and what you think about them, etc. My words from Claudia (utopiandream) are below:

1. Brad - My husband, my Canadian, my teddy bear ninja. We've been married for just over a year now, and ( Read more... )

Thanks! And very slowly, haha. She's coming closer to the kitten now, and really only hisses at her when the kitten approaches her. They can be in the same room and all, but Aphrodite is still mostly keeping her distance. It's only been 2 days, though, so I'm not too worried yet. :)

Aww kitten! They'll get to be friends eventually. When I brought Luna-cat home, Gershwin seriously went through the stages of grieving. First he ignored Luna and denied her existence, then he got angry and hissed and try to fight with her, then he got depressed and laid in my closet for 2 days, and then he accepted her and now they're bff's. I guess he skipped bargaining, hahaha.

Ugh, stupid internet filter at work ate my response to this comment. But I said that Brad read something online that said that adult cats can go through depression when you bring a kitten into their home. Aphrodite seems to have recognized that the kitten isn't going anywhere, and that we still love her even if there's another animal around, so that's progress. She also isn't hiding all the time anymore, she is investigating and coming downstairs more. Usually only hisses when the kitten gets too close to her, though there has been some swatting once or twice when Dwyn basically ran right up to Aphrodite. I do think they'll be friends eventually, though.

I like your new layout. It's very sleek! I love organized layouts.
I wish I had a knitting group...

Thanks! I like it too.

Seriously, we should do like, a g+ hangout for a virtual knitting group. It could be you, me, a friend of mine from Jersey, and whoever else wanted to join. IT WOULD BE AWESOME. Say yes. :D

Hehe, yay indeed. Now to get my puppy, hahaha.

Okay, your words aaaaaaaaare: art, youtube, montreal, panera, and body image.

Yay entry!

I don't think I knew that's how you'd met Brad. Your dad's response to the bill = very lol worthy. That's so great that he was so understanding!

I hope you'll be able to get a dog very soon. I've told you before, but I'm telling you again: you'll make an amazing dog mama!

So jealous of your knitting skills. I can only knit scarves and even then not well. -_- I have this really soft pink alpaca or something yarn that came with a gorgeous hat/scarf pattern and the most I can do is touch it. Wish we had knitting Meetup groupshere!

New kitty is adorable!!! Your new layout is great, too!

Well, he started out understanding, anyway. Not so much in recent years, but that's a whole other story.

Haha, thanks! I definitely can't wait. :)

Ooh, so I was telling one of my other friends, we should totally do a google plus hangout and have a virtual knitting group! If you have a webcam, you can join and we can all see each other and chat with each other while we knit. If you're interested, I really think I'm going to start this up. Then maybe we can show you via webcam how to do anything you need help with, so you can make something with that alpaca! No good yarn should go to waste! ;)

Thank you! :)

Eek, I hope things are good now, though.

That sounds great! I do have a webcam, but when I've used it so far it seems like there's a bit of a delay and lagging. So far I've done it on Yahoo so maybe it's been Yahoo's fault.

No, actually, we're not on speaking terms. It's a long story, but the 3 most recent entries with the dad tag pretty much cover it if you're interested.

Awesome! I will totally see about putting this together, because I think it could be a lot of fun. :)
