This entry will contain Good Things! First, Brad and I had our first meal on our new barbecue last night. We assembled it on Monday and then went out yesterday to get all the accoutrements for it, and Brad cooked us some hamburgers, and it was delicious. It was one of those "look at us, we are a real grown up married couple cooking things on our ( Read more... )

Such a positive entry, yay! I hope you enjoy the knitting group and that you'll get more yogurt. :D

I hear you re: baseball. That's great that you'll still be going for support! Hopefully you can chat with someone and make it go faster. ;)

The biggest time waster for me currently is CityVille on Facebook. So addicted!

Thanks! I'm sure I will. :)

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll bring my current crocheting project (well, if I don't finish it tonight) so I can work on that and chat with people. And will definitely bring my sunscreen! Plus I think I'll be able to get together with one of my favorite coworkers before or after the game, so it's all good.

Ah, well, I can't actually access facebook at work, so that's out, but thanks for the thought!

"It was one of those "look at us, we are a real grown up married couple cooking things on our barbecue together" moments."
Lol, I didn't know that was a Category. :P

Also, Phil has gotten me on Reddit, which is this huge amalgam of random internet shit. I like it because it has funny stuff, cute stuff, viral videos, but also links to good articles, interesting stuff (I like the TIL, which means Today I Learned, and the AMA, where they have like "i am an icecream truck driver let me tell you what its like"). I also spend a lot of time just reading the NYTimes. Its a great paper, lots of really insightful analytic articles. I actually almost never read about current events, I like the science, education, and opinions the best. They limit the number of articles you can read per month but all you have to do is google the title of an article you want to read and you can get to it, its a loop hole. All the headline pages are still accessible so what I do is see and article I want to read and google it.

Hahaha, sure it is. :) Why not?

Cool, thanks for the recommendations! I'll have to check them out, see if I can access reddit at work or not. I'm sure I'll be able to see the NYTimes articles at least. :)
