Hope you enjoy your Winterlicious experience - I know I did! Where are your reservations?

Tomorrow's reservations are at Horizons, in the CN Tower, and Thursday we're going to the College Street Bar in Little Italy. I can't wait! :) Where did you go?

Ohh! I haven't been to either of those!
I went to The Sultan's Tent & Cafe Moroc on Front Street and it was absolutely amazing!

We've actually eaten at College Street Bar once before, and liked their food, but their Winterlicious menu sounded amazing so we decided to go again. I'd recommend it if you like Italian! :) Glad you had a great time at your Winterlicious experience! Maybe we should try to do a Summerlicious thing, too!

Aww she's such a cute kid! She looks like a sweetheart. :)

It sucks that we have to pay for extra userpics on here and that even then they're not unlimited. Plus accounts are meh.

What is a PR application? All I can think if Public Relations and that doesn't sound right.

I hope you enjoy your dinner tomorrow! The rushing around doesn't sound fun, but I can definitely see why 5 o' clock is better than 9. What is Winterlicious? Is it fancy dinners for a cheaper than normal price?

She really is a sweetheart. I hope we get to see her again soon!

Ugh, yeah. Every time this comes up, I am irritated about the things I have to pay for to use Livejournal, but then, I've been using the site for so long that I feel like $20 a year or whatever to support them isn't really that bad. :-/

Haha, sorry, I probably should have clarified; I forgot that not everyone would know what I was talking about. PR is permanent resident; I'm applying to become a permanent resident of Canada now that Brad and I are married. It's a whole delightful pile of paperwork and bureaucracy. :p

Thanks, me too! Yeah, basically a bunch of the restaurants in Toronto offer fixed price menus to attract people who might not ordinarily come. So all the dinners are like $25, $35 or $45 I think, and it includes appetizer, entree and dessert. I'm excited!

Where does she live?

I guess it really isn't, but it'd be nice to have the unlimited userpics. It's nice to be able to change 'em up and have lots of them. I've seen people here with 200+! :o

Ahh, I see! It sounds like a very lenghty process. :\ Do you guys plan on being in Canada permanently? I mean, I know you're going for the PR thing, but do you see yourself moving back to where you're from (New Jersey?) in the future?

Sounds like a great deal! I hope you enjoyed your meal tonight. :)

She lives with her mom about 2-2.5 hours away from here.

Exactly! I love being able to play with different userpics and change them whenever I find good new ones and stuff.

Haha, yes, it's definitely a lengthy process. But yeah, we do plan on being in Canada permanently. I never really saw myself living in New Jersey forever, and this feels like home to me now. It's where we're building our life together, and I don't really have any desire to leave.

Mmmm, dinner was so good tonight! I will post the pictures soon; the view was incredible!!

I just caught up on all your posts that I've missed! Awww CREEPY HOT DOG FUN TIMES <3
Also, why did your winterlicious reservation get postponed? I didn't seem to see you writing about that?
And reading about your weekend with your friend, way to be good at doing a lot. Haha, Phil and I have become so lazy lately, I want to change that.
Didn't you already do an FBI check? You have to do another? I had to do one for coming here, it took them about 6 weeks to send me my results.
Mmmm I feel like I had more to say but I can't think! I really enjoy reading your updates, I wish I had the bother to write so much lately...(if that makes sense??)

OMG!!!! CUTE OVERLOAD WITH KATRINA!!! You seriously need to package up that cuteness and sell it! :-D

Wow, major suckage with the account expiring! :-( Sucks sucks sucks and dang.. I did not know your scrapbook was a part of that... I'll haveta to make sure to keep tabs on when mine is expiring too.

That's like so odd they do not do the required fingerprinting at the police station of all places! Hopefully the process goes super smoothly!

OOOH OOH OOH! I hope your fabulous dinners go excellently this weekend! :-)

Haha, I know, she really is adorable. And she takes after her father a lot, which is good to know for when Brad and I start having kids, because hopefully they'll come out like her. :)

Ugh, yeah. It wouldn't be such a pain if I had a functional credit card right now, because then I could renew it easily. But since I don't, I'll have to figure something else out, which just ends up being way more complicated, usually. :-/

I know, I thought it was a little odd that the police station didn't do fingerprinting. Maybe only certain ones do it? I got mine done the first time at a police station in Jersey, but I guess it's up to each station whether they offer that service or not. *shrug* But thanks! I'm sure I'll be writing more about it as I go through all of it.

Yay! :-) Speaking of which, do you and Brad have a "timeline" for thinking about having kids? It seems amongst my married friends, a few of them went straight for kids and the other few wanted to enjoy their marriage together a little more before having wee ones.

Yeah, roughly, we're thinking in about 2 years we'll start trying. I do want to enjoy just being married for a bit, but more importantly, it gives Brad a chance to graduate and hopefully be employed for a little while, and it also gives us time to get into a better financial position before we start having extra mouths to feed and whatnot.

I've never had a paid account, so I guess I don't know what I'm missing, but I've never had a problem with mine!

Hope you have a super great time at the CN Tower tonight!!!!!!!!!! I've never been up it, but I'm sure it's pretty awesome!

Yeah. I guess I've kind of gotten used to the extra features that come with a paid account, and now I don't want to give them up. :p

Oh man, it was fantastic! And the view was just absolutely amazing. I'll post pictures soon! :D
